Located in the commune of Sainte-Anne, Bois Jolan beach stretches for over a kilometre, offering landscapes worthy of the most beautiful postcards. It is protected by the coral reef, making it an ideal beach for families. The waters are calm and shallow, and bathing conditions are pleasant and safe for children.
Dense and varied vegetation
With its dense and varied vegetation, Bois Jolan beach has a wild and authentic feel. You can protect yourself from the sun's rays between swims, in the shade of the many catalpa, almond and grape trees. The perfect environment to recharge your batteries!
A lively atmosphere
At weekends and public holidays, the atmosphere is more lively. The beach is very popular with Guadeloupeans, who organise family barbecues and picnics, a real local tradition. The Bois Jolan beach is also the venue for the 4-day Easter festivities. Pitches are reserved in advance so you can pitch your tents and enjoy crab matété or calalou between two games of dominoes. Music, laughter and conviviality transform the beach into a real party place!
